Trained spotter reported flash flooding along Dyer near US 54. Social media showed a flooded AutoZone parking lot.

Low level southeast flow continued across areas east of the Rio Grande bringing in above average moisture to the El Paso area. Weak mid-level flow kept storm motion slow and allowed for heavy rain to fall in northeast El Paso and produce flash flooding.
