Fire Department provided photos of multiple trees snapped from 8th street east to Townline Road along Ripley Street in Cornell from a microburst.

Wider weather episode

Scattered storms developed on the afternoon of June 30 over northern Minnesota and Wisconsin, traveling southeast through the evening. One storm produced hail up to quarter size in St Croix County and another knocked down several trees within the town of Cornell in Chippewa County.
