Wider weather episode
Dewpoints of 70 degrees played a significant role in reducing convective inhibition across the Mid-South, as well as enhancing low-level CAPE for storm initiation. 0-6km shear was not particularly strong, generally less than 25 knots, but increased to around 35 kts with a passing shortwave. Storms produced damaging winds.
