Large tree fell on a portion of a house and pool near Phedora St and Elizabeth St.
Wider weather episode
Remnant cold-pooling behind the previous day's event was strong enough to continue thunderstorms into the early morning hours of the 8th. This complex of storms moved into west central Georgia before triggering a few isolated storms in north central Georgia as well. Damaging winds were the main hazard, and the threat lasted just a couple of hours.
