Trained spotters reported hail from the size of pennies to quarters from south of Mills to Casper Mountain.

Wider weather episode

A pair of severe thunderstorms moved across Natrona County and brought large hail. The largest hail was with the first storm when hail as large as hens eggs was reported to the northwest of Casper. A second storm passed through around 4 hours later and produced up to quarter size hail near Casper.
