A tree was reported down on power lines at Shell Road and Pilot School Road, resulting in power outages.

A slow-moving cold front over the Ohio and Tennessee valley produced scattered to numerous showers and storms in the evening and early overnight hours. Most of the storms were sub-severe, but a few cells produced wind damage over the northwest Piedmont.
