Event narrative

This tornado touched down southeast of Choice and predominately caused minor tree damage in Fillmore County prior to strengthening as it crossed the Houston County line.

Wider weather episode

During the evening hours on June 25th, an outbreak of weak tornadoes occurred across southeast Minnesota which resulted in 6 tornadoes in this portion of the state. These tornadoes were weak and short-lived but did produce localized swaths of tree damage. Two tornadoes also caused minor structural damage in both Houston and Wabasha counties.
