Event narrative

This tornado developed near State Highway 33 several miles south of Barre Mills and caused extensive tree damage in the Valleywood Springs area. This tornado then moved northeast causing additional spotty tree damage before dissipating near the intersection of County Highways M and I. Valleywood Springs would be impacted by a second tornado 10 minutes later with each tornado having its own circulation and debris signature on radar.

Wider weather episode

During the evening hours on June 25th a complex of storms produced three weak tornadoes across west-central Wisconsin that resulted primarily in tree damage. A second round of storms moved through the area on June 26th, producing one EF-0 tornado in Vernon County which caused minor tree damage.
