Public report of 60 MPH winds and blowing dust with visibility near 0.

In the late afternoon of the 16th, two lines of storms formed, one in northwestern Kansas, the other in eastern Colorado. The northwestern Kansas storms slowly moved to the north-northeast as the Colorado line moved to the northeast. As these two lines collided, additional storms formed near the I-70 corridor. Storms lasted for over 5 hours, produced winds up to 80 to 90 MPH, causing damage at a brick car wash in St. Francis and causing visibility to drop to near zero from blowing dust. Additionally, hail up to 1 inch was reported.
