A narrow, vertical waterspout was reported via social media near Snipe Pint. The condensation funnel cloud extended all the way from cloud base to the surface. The waterspout moved toward the west-southwest around 10 mph.

Wider weather episode

A waterspout developed in association with an isolated rain shower north of the Lower Florida Keys. The synoptic weather pattern featured broad ridging across the western north Atlantic with low pressure located well to the north over New England.
