Public reported numerous trees, large limbs, and some power lines blown down throughout Anderson County. The ASOS at the Anderson Regional Airport measured a wind gust of 51 kts, or 60 mph.

Wider weather episode

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms moved into upstate South Carolina from north Georgia and moved quickly across the area during the early evening. The storms produced multiple areas of damaging wind gusts.
