Emergency manager reported multiple trees blown down on power lines along the I-85 corridor from near the Spartanburg County line through the Gaffney area, with other trees down in the southern part of the county.

Wider weather episode

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms moved into upstate South Carolina from north Georgia and moved quickly across the area during the early evening. The storms produced multiple areas of damaging wind gusts.
