Public reported several trees blown down in Alto and vicinity, including multiple trees blown down across Highway 23. Additionally, a tree was blown down on a vehicle and several transformers were blown in Cornelia and vicinity.

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms moved quickly across across north Georgia during the early evening. The storms produced multiple areas of damaging wind gusts.
