Some of these thunderstorms became severe over western North Dakota. Over Stark County, hail up to one-inch in diameter was reported along with estimated wind gusts to 80 mph which severely damaged a small building. Later that night, a severe storm produced damaging wind gusts to 93 mph over Mountrail County. This caused severe damage to campers near Van Hook Park and Parshall.
