The DISW3 Devils Island C-MAN station reported a gust of 51 mph.

A complex of thunderstorms moved across the Northland the night of the 20th into the 21st. A warm front was draped across the region and led to a first round of storms moving to the northeast. This was quickly followed by an eastward moving line of storms. Damaging winds were the primary threat with these storms as they moved across western Lake Superior. Wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph were reported along the South Shore of Lake Superior with a high gust of 61 mph reported at the Port Wing harbor.
