Public reported several trees blown down around the Forest City and Bostic areas. Utility company reported trees blown down on power lines and causing an outage near Ellenboro.

Scattered thunderstorms and storm clusters developed over the North Carolina Blue Ridge during the early afternoon and steadily progressed east through the afternoon into the early evening. Isolated storms became severe and produced hail and brief damaging wind gusts.
