Emergency manager reported a few trees and powerlines blown down between East Gaffney and Cherokee Falls.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms and storm clusters developed near the Blue Ridge during the afternoon and moved steadily southeast across the Upstate during the afternoon into the evening. Isolated severe storms produced locally damaging wind gusts and large hail.
