Ham radio operator reported trees blown down onto the roof of a home on Ridge Rd near Glenn Rd.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms and storm clusters developed near the Blue Ridge during the afternoon and moved steadily southeast across the Upstate during the afternoon into the evening. Isolated severe storms produced locally damaging wind gusts and large hail.
