Tree branch down on wires on Champion Road with the road impassable.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms developed to our northwest along a cold front and pre-frontal trough with the help of weak to moderate instability and shear of 30 to 35 knots. As the storms reached southern CT, one was able to produce damaging wind gusts.
