The Weatherflow sensor at Shutes Folly measured wind gusts of at least 34 knots between 1242 PM and 1247 PM with a peak wind gust of 37 knots at 1247 PM.

A largely unstable and weakly sheared environment developing ahead of shortwave energy approaching the region supported severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts across coastal waters.
