A tree was reported near the intersection Willingham Road and Anna Drive. Time was estimated from radar data.
Wider weather episode
Several trough axes extending southward into northern Alabama and southern middle Tennessee from a stalled frontal boundary extending through the Ohio Valley into the Mid-Atlantic area. These trough axes interacted with an unstable atmopshere to produce a number of strong lines of thundestorms that moved from west to east across northern Alabama. Some of these storms produced damaging winds up to 60 mph.
