Event narrative
This tornado appears to have begun near the northeast side of DeGray
Lake at the Clark and Hot Springs County lines. A large swath of
trees was snapped and uprooted at Hwy 7 north of De Gray Lake Dike
and south of Central Ave. This tornado continued into Hot Springs County. Maximum estimated winds within Clark County were 100 mph.
Wider weather episode
Strong to severe storms impacted the state over a five day span. In total, large hail and damaging winds were the primary hazards, however short lived tornado also occurred.
