Event narrative
Several trees and large tree limbs were reported down corroborated from two different CO-OP observers that there was widespread tree damage across Howard. Time was estimated from radar.
Wider weather episode
Thunderstorms developed in the Flint Hills into south central Kansas during the evening hours of the 30th then gradually expanded in coverage across much of southern Kansas. The storms continued into the early morning hours of the 31st. These storms produced damaging winds and up to quarter sized hail in south central and southeast Kansas.
