What the National Weather Service wrote

Story Creek was observed flowing anywhere from 12 to 18 inches deep over the intersection of Franklin Street and Old Ferrum Road. This is a known flood-prone location given the sharp bend in the creek and the narrow culvert under the road. No damage was reported to the road however.
