Several medium to large trees were down with a few partially onto power lines.

Wider weather episode

A warm front lifted across northeastern Minnesota the morning of the 4th bringing a very warm and humid airmass to the region. Isolated thunderstorms developed across north-central Minnesota and were wind producing storms with a gust of 78 mph recorded at the International Falls airport along with some isolated tree damage elsewhere across the region.
