Hail was mainly dime to quarter size with the largest hail stones being 1.5 inches in diameter.
Wider weather episode
A few thunderstorms developed during the morning hours of the 15th along a stationary boundary draped across central Minnesota from west to east. A few of these storms produced large hail along with some isolated tree damage in east-central Minnesota.
