2025-07-30 to 2025-07-31 · Sevier, Arkansas

Wider weather episode

An upper level ridge of high pressure built back over the Lower Mississippi Valley into the Four State Region during the final couple of days of July, resulting in more widespread upper 90s to triple digit temperatures across Southwest Arkansas. Unfortunately, dewpoints were not able to mix out much during the afternoons of July 30th-31st, with oppressively hot conditions leading to resultant heat indices ranging from 110-117 degrees each day across much of Southwest Arkansas.
