A severe thunderstorm, producing wind gusts estimated near 60 mph, knocked down wires onto Buckhorn Road near the intersection of Schoolhouse Road in Buckhorn.

A surface cold front stationed across west-central Pennsylvania produced scattered thunderstorms into central and eastern Pennsylvania during the afternoon and evening hours of September 4, 2025. Thunderstorms remained strong-to-severe across north-central Pennsylvania, producing isolated wind damage. Shear in the lowest levels allowed for a brief, weak tornado to form in Lancaster County.
