A tree was reported down and partially blocking a roadway near Fairmont Road and Hagans Road.

The wider storm

Surface low pressure associated with a seasonably anomalous closed upper low dragged a cold front through the area, resulting in evening showers and thunderstorms. Most convection was sub-severe as MLCAPE and effective shear were marginal (300-600 J/g and 20kts), however, there were two severe storms in northern West Virginia. Damaging winds were the only threat with convection.

Began near Arnettsville (39.5800, -80.1000).
