Event narrative
A public report described torrential rain of approximately 20 minutes in duration and roadway ponding near Bernice's Bakery around 1600MST; additionally, the roof of new annex started leaking.

An anomalously moist airmass, with precipitable water values between 0.8 and 1.0+ inches, was established across the region. A passing shortwave trough provided large-scale lift, triggering widespread thunderstorms with very high rainfall rates. The overall environment supported training convection, where multiple storms repeatedly moved over the same areas. These conditions were highly favorable for producing excessive rainfall and initiating flash flooding.
