Isolated thunderstorms developed along a surface boundary from Brown County, west southwest into Arthur County during the early evening hours of July 18th. Storms became severe over central Brown County, leading to three brief tornadoes. Later in the evening, quarter sized hail was reported northwest of Burwell in Garfield County.
