Temperatures in Southeastern Arizona was 10 degrees above normal with Major HeatRisk. The high temperature at Nogales International Airport was 95 degrees Fahrenheit. The Pima County Medical Examiner found that the cause of death for an individual in Nogales was heat contributed.

The Pima County Medical Examiner found that the cause of death for 6 individuals, 3 in Tucson, 2 in Sahuarita, and 1 in Nogales were heat contributed and 1 individual in Tucson was heat caused. An Extreme Heat Warning was in effect for all of the lower elevations on June 19th and June 20th.
