Peak southwest winds were recorded of 41G60 MPH at Rock Creek RAWS, and 32G63 MPH at OR Rt. 31 MP98.5 in Paisley. In addition, peak winds at Summer Lake reached 29G57 MPH.

A strong gradient between antecedent cold, high pressure and a cold front moving southeast out of the Gulf of Alaska produced high winds in southern Oregon.
