Rainfall rates were estimated at 1.50 to 3.00 inches per hour, with total accumulations ranging from 3.15 to 4.03 inches based on measured reports. At 5:37 AM CST, the Nebraska Department of Transportation confirmed that floodwaters were partially covering sections of US Highway 6 between Ashland and Gretna.
