Levee R-613 failed causing major flooding at Offutt Air Force Base and the Papillion Creek Wastewater Plant.
Heavy rains caused debris to clog a drainage ditch near a railroad track. The ditch filled with water and washed part of the track away. This lead to a derailment of 28 train box cars that were filled with grain.
