The National Gridded Snowfall Analysis indicated storm totals of 8 to 30 inches at elevations above 4500 feet. Precipitation amounts measured included: 1.63 inches at Klamath March, 1.00 inches at Taylor Butte, and 1.90 inches at Silver Creek.

Wider weather episode

A frontal system moved into southern Oregon and northern California on 3/15 then became nearly stationary, oriented from northeast to southwest across the area, from 3/16 into 3/17. Additional snow showers behind the main system lingered into 3/18. The heaviest snow occurred during 3/16.
