Event narrative

The North Fork Coquille River at Myrtle Point rose above minor flood stage of 35.0 ft. at 16/1619 PST, peaked in major flood stage at 16/2300 PST at 37.72 ft. It then fell below flood stage at 17/1032 PST. At 35.0 feet, Expect widespread pasture and agricultural flooding. Moderate bank erosion along the North Fork Coquille River and its tributaries can also be expected.

Wider weather episode

The strongest of a series of frontal systems stalled over southern Oregon on 03/16. It produced heavy rain that caused numerous rivers in southwest Oregon to flood.
