South Umpqua River near Winston rose above minor flood stage of 26.0 ft. at 16/1558 PST, peaked in minor flood stage at 16/2300 PST at 29.47 ft. It then fell below flood stage at 17/0432 PST. At 26.0 feet, low-land flooding can be expected from Winston upstream to Dillard.

Wider weather episode

The strongest of a series of frontal systems stalled over southern Oregon on 03/16. It produced heavy rain that caused numerous rivers in southwest Oregon to flood.
