Ahead of the line of thunderstorms, winds gusted to 51mph at MACM4, Mackinaw City Buoy, at 01:24. Winds continued to gust above 40mph through the next half hour across northern Lake Huron, reaching 44mph at 01:55 at KSLH, Cheboygan County Airport, and 42mph at 01:54 at DTLM4 DeTour Village buoy.
