High temperatures in Southeastern Arizona were 5 degrees above normal, causing Moderate HeatRisk. The Tucson International Airport reached a high temperature of 106 degrees Fahrenheit. A CWOP site in Vail reached a high temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The Pima County Medical Examiner found that heat was a factor in the cause of death for 5 individuals, 4 in Tucson and 1 in Vail. 2 deaths were heat caused, while 3 were heat contributed.

Temperatures in Southeastern Arizona were 3 to 6 degrees above normal, causing Low to Moderate HeatRisk. The Pima County Medical Examiner found that heat was a factor in the cause of death for 11 individuals. 9 of these deaths were due to heat contribution in Willcox, Tucson, and Rio Rico, while 2 were heat caused in Tucson.
