Colleton County Emergency Management reported a tree down on Pine Grove Road near the intersection with Benton Farm Road. The tree was blown down due to gusty winds along outflow from a thunderstorm.

Scattered thunderstorms developed in the afternoon hours inland of the sea breeze across portions of southeast South Carolina. These storms produced gusty winds and frequent cloud to ground lightning.
