Dorchester County Emergency Management reported a tree down at the traffic circle along Orangeburg Road and W Butternut Road.

Numerous clusters of thunderstorms developed across interior southeast South Carolina starting in the mid afternoon hours. These storms steadily progressed eastward through the late afternoon producing damaging wind gusts and frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.
