Thunderstorms impacted the coastal waters and adjacent land areas of southeast Louisiana and Mississippi on July 16, 2025. Marine observations recorded multiple strong wind gusts, including 44 to 48 mph near Venice, 39 mph south of Sand Island, and 41 to 51 mph from Gulfport to Waveland, with the strongest gust along Beach Boulevard in Waveland. Over land, thunderstorm winds downed a tree in Waveland.
