Event narrative

Emergency management officials reported a microburst that caused the roof of a barn to detach near the intersection of FM 922 and FM 2848 in Valley View. Debris from the roof was propelled into high-voltage transmission lines and dispersed over a distance of 1.2 miles. A residential weather station recorded a wind gust of 66 MPH.
