Several hours of dense fog was observed at McGuire Air Force Base.

Light winds and a moist air mass ahead of an approaching cold front, combined with clearing skies and recent rainfall, allowed dense fog to form across parts of southern New Jersey on the early morning of August 25th. The fog dissipated shortly after sunrise.
