Event narrative

Thunderstorm winds downed trees along Highway W west of Macks Creek. One tree fell and damaged a roof of a house. A barn was also destroyed.

Wider weather episode

An upper level disturbance approached the area during peak heating on September 18th. This allowed for scattered thunderstorms to move through the area causing sporadic damaging winds and large hail.
