Scattered thunderstorms developed over the Lower Florida Keys coastal waters. While higher concentrations of thunderstorms were noted over Gulf of America waters off the southwest Florida mainland, gale-force wind gusts occurred with one thunderstorm passing along the Atlantic side of the Lower Florida Keys offshore Sugarloaf Key.
