Mesonet station XKBS at Biscayne Bay Light reported a wind gust of 39 mph as a gusty thunderstorm moved offshore.

Strong thunderstorms developed around the Atlantic coast of Southeast Florida and Lake Okeechobee on the afternoon of July 6, 2025 as a mid level disturbance passed to the northwest of the region and surface boundary over northern portions of the state retreated northward.
