Large hail associated with a severe thunderstorm dropped hail the size of quarters in Brookline, NH.

During the evening of July 11th a weak disturbance passed across the region. This feature caused enough instability for a few thunderstorms to develop. A cluster of these storms across southern New Hampshire contained large hail.
