Severe thunderstorm outflow winds downed a large tree down on ME-133 in Jay.

Wider weather episode

On the afternoon of July 17th a pre-frontal upper level disturbance interacted with hot and unstable conditions to allow for the development of isolated thunderstorms across Maine. Most storms remained weak, but one storm became severe and downed a few trees.
